What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Conduct research and draft briefing papers on criminal justice issues and reforms
Manage amicus briefs and sign-on statements addressing timely criminal justice issues
Gather information from prosecutors and subject matter experts on best practices and justice system inequities
Facilitate in-person and remote gatherings for prosecutive leaders to learn from each other and experts in the field
Assist in interviews, surveys, and support for prosecutive leaders in the network
What Is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree and JD, Master's Degree, or equivalent post-graduate degree
Four years or more of experience in criminal justice legal or policy work
Understanding of justice reform work and systems
Strong writing, research, and oral communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and keep a large national project organized
Ability to communicate effectively with elected prosecutive leaders and their staff
Ability to work in a non-traditional environment and supervise junior staff
Ability to work independently and manage projects

Experience in reforms of prosecution and the criminal legal system
