COMPENSATION: Pay range - $17.00 - $22.00/hr, based on experience; Independent contractors considered
POSITION SUMMARY:
Our Construction and Real Estate Management Company is seeking a full-time General Office and Bookkeeping Clerk to provide essential support across various departments including AP, AR, bookkeeping, client communications, digital filing, payroll, advertising, and more. In this remote position, you'll play a vital part in ensuring general company records stay accurate and organized while collaborating with our dedicated team to keep our office, subcontractors, and client projects on track.

QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIREMENTS & TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook & Excel), QuickBooks Premier/Enterprise, Dropbox, CRM, Adobe Acrobat, Bill.com - 3+ years experience - Intermediate level
At least 3 years of experience in an office setting, preferably Construction related
Knowledge of digital marketing and SEO a plus
Verifiable employment history and solid references
Home office setup with a desktop computer, printer, stable high-speed internet connection, and cell phone
Quiet & distraction-free work area
Typing speed of 50+ wpm
Fluency in English (conversational Spanish knowledge a plus)
NDA and background check

Must meet productivity and quality standards, required task timelines, and be available via phone, text and Zoom during work hours (occasionally after normal work hours)
RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain, organize, and update digital filing systems for easy document accessibility. Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, including invoicing, tracking expenses, job costing, and reconciling accounts payable and receivable. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reconciliation Assist with preparing monthly financial reports and statements Handle incoming inquiries via phone and email with a friendly yet professional attitude Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail Maintain & update employee & subcontractor documents, client contracts, insurance documents, etc. (Understanding of Certificates of Insurance & Endorsements a plus) Support the team with administrative and company tasks as needed
