Front Desk Receptionist:

    Greeting patients and their loved ones when they come for appointments
  • Answering phone calls and emails from patients
  • Maintaining an office schedule for other staff members
  • Filing medical records other documents
  • Keeping the front desk or office organized and running smoothly
  • Scheduling appointments and follow-ups for patients
  • Calling patients to remind them of their appointments
  • Using a computer, medical office software, and other technology to keep information organized and up- to-date
  • Processing payments from patients, and maintaining accurate and honest accounting
  • Assisting patients with filling out forms and answering their questions
  • Transcribing notes from doctors
  • Keeping the waiting and reception areas clean and inviting
  • Contacting insurance companies
  • Maintaining a working relationship with the medical receptionists at other medical offices or departments
  • Other tasks not specifically outlined in your job description may also be assigned
  • Must be able to multi-task and able to handle busy schedule

As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office/hospital. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner. Some local travel required

    Responsibilities
  • Interview patients and document basic medical history
  • Organize and schedule appointments
  • Prior Authorizations
  • Dealing with insurance companies
  • Update and file medical records and insurance reports
  • Arrange hospital admissions and laboratory services
  • Check vitals and type up patients charts
  • Assist during medical examinations
  • Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments

  • Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
