Role Overview:
The Video Editor, Content Creative will play a critical role in our Social Creative and Content team.
This role will work closely with Creative Project Leads to create high-quality video content for all brand projects - including but not limited to, social campaigns across critical channels, brand videos, and broader video needs.
Projects will vary from tasks like building social-ready video assets from content creator-provided footage to light animation and motion graphics work using product-based photographs and imagery.
This role will join a multidisciplinary team of graphic designers, creative strategists, creative producers, and copywriters. The right candidate for this role will be highly creative, deeply immersed in social and digital Culture, highly organized, and comfortable working both independently and in a team.
A successful match for this role will tackle work with a sense of urgency, be very detail-oriented, and be obsessed with producing best-in-class work as part of the Best In Industry social team.
Someone with a can-do attitude who is excited to riff on ideas and constantly push to improve our brand social work.
Core Job Responsibilities: Support the Social Creative team on video creative for organic social and paid media channels. Ingest, organize, and edit video content Partner closely with Creative Leads and Creative Producers to execute video needs as part of brand campaigns Develop and execute video concepts from end to end, including versioning and final delivery for multiple platforms Evolve video best practices for content creator briefs to ensure that footage delivery meets internal needs (specs, safe zones, file delivery, etc.) Comfortable working with graphics packages and incorporating them into video creative.
Requirements for consideration:
3 years in a professional setting working on digital video within a marketing or advertising function
Retail experience a must, beauty experience a huge plus
Portfolio of work that shows the range of creative endeavors and brand-level thinking. Should include Video editing, motion graphics, GIF, etc.
Deep knowledge of all social media platforms and the latest video trends
A desire & ability to drive innovation, both in technology and in process
Great listener; enjoys collaborating with other team members
High level of proficiency with the following programs & languages: Adobe Creative Suite (including Premiere and AfterEffects)
Post-production experience, proficient in the following areas: Editing, light motion graphics (more advanced knowledge is a plus), Color correction, Sound design, codecs, and compression, Experience with remote workflows and studio-level file management is a plus, Social standards & formats.
Efficient time management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills
Bachelor's Degree in Design, Media Arts, or similar
A passion for the Client, its products, and its guests is a requirement.
