Job Summary
The Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center at Stephenville is seeking a highly motivated full-time postdoctoral research associate with an interest in environmental microbiology, environmental processes, advanced or renewable materials for environmental applications, waste-derived biofuels and bioproducts, and greenhouse gas control.
Responsibilities: Environmental microbiology for microbial community analysis, antibiotic-resistant genes and pathogens in water, soil, plants, and sludge. Environmental processes, including adsorption, advanced oxidation/reduction, and biological treatment. Advanced or renewable materials, including biochar and other carbon materials, for water purification and environmental remediation. Production of biofuels, biochemicals, and bioproducts from various waste. Greenhouse gas control in soil, water, and contaminated sites.
