Our client in North Houston is looking for a Temporary Procurement Admin to join their team for a 3-4 month assignment. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with suppliers, managing purchase orders, and ensuring smooth procurement operations. Youll be part of a friendly, supportive team that values open communication and collaboration.
Responsibilities: Create, update, and track purchase orders to ensure accuracy and timely processing Follow up with suppliers on order status, resolve any delays, and maintain strong vendor relationships Maintain and update vendor records to ensure compliance with company requirements Process transactions and maintain accurate procurement records using SAP (a must-have skill!) Assist the procurement team with general administrative tasks and process improvements
Qualifications: 1-2 years of procurement experience understanding of purchasing processes and supplier coordination Proficiency in SAP is required ability to navigate and process orders within the system Excellent communication and organizational skills ability to collaborate effectively and follow up with suppliers Attention to detail & problem-solving skills ensuring accurate order processing and resolving supplier issues proactively No degree required just a great work ethic, willingness to learn, and a proactive mindset
Pay: $25/hr
