Colonial Country Club is looking for motivated and hardworking individuals to join our Event Support Crew for the Charles Schwab Challenge PGA Tournament. This temporary position (May 1 - May 27) is crucial in ensuring a seamless event experience by assisting with setup, on-site operations, and teardown.
Responsibilities: Assist with setup of event infrastructure, including tents, tables, chairs, signage, and equipment. Support vendors, tournament staff, and sponsors with logistics and operational needs. Maintain cleanliness and organization in key areas such as hospitality zones, spectator areas, and vendor spaces. Help with inventory management, restocking supplies, and general event maintenance. Provide assistance to guests by answering questions and offering directions. Assist with post-event teardown, including dismantling structures and ensuring proper storage of equipment. Perform other duties as needed to contribute to the success of the event.
Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.). Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong teamwork skills with a positive and proactive attitude. Flexible availability, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends during the tournament. Prior experience in event setup, hospitality, or maintenance is a plus but not required.
