The Clinical Behavioral Health Specialist is a remote position that plays a crucial role in providing behavioral health consultations to acute patients through a Telehealth platform. This role requires independent clinical decision-making and the ability to assess and intervene with a diverse patient population across various geographic regions. The specialist will conduct psychosocial assessments in emergency and inpatient settings, offering a full range of clinical social work services, including treatment recommendations and crisis intervention.
Responsibilities
Conduct psychosocial assessments of patients in emergency department and inpatient settings via telehealth.

Provide a full range of clinical social work consult services including treatment recommendations and risk assessments.

Perform crisis intervention and discharge planning recommendations.

Collaborate and build rapport with patients, staff, and other members of the Telehealth team.

Document patient interactions and assessments in an Electronic Health Record (EHR).

Ensure compliance with the Social Work Code of Ethics and relevant state mental health laws.
Requirements
Master's Degree in Social Work from a CSWE Accredited University.

Washington, Alaska, California, Montana, Oregon, New Mexico, or Texas Clinical Social Worker License upon hire.

5 years of post-graduate experience in an Emergency Department, Inpatient, or Outpatient Behavioral Health setting.

Experience documenting in an Electronic Health Record (EPIC preferred).
Nice-to-haves
1 year experience working with children or adolescents.
