Medicaid Housing Administrator

Builds strategic collaborative relationships with state agencies, provider groups, community-based organizations, and state housing entities across Florida
Leverages relationships to support Medicaid members with housing insecurities
Works directly with Aetna Better Health of Florida members and community stakeholders to address housing needs
Develops policies and procedures for supporting member access to Florida permanent supportive housing
Provides training and education to both internal staff and external stakeholders in Florida
Supports Care Management & Utilization Management staff when complex needs are identified
Attends and supports health plan rounds
Collaborates with the RFP team for State RFP requests and renewals
Requirements: 5 or more years of experience in Medicaid, managed health care Minimum of (2) years experience in assisting the elderly and persons with disabilities to secure accessible, affordable housing through Federal (such as HUD, Shelter Plus Care, SAMHSA, and USDA), as well as local programs Must be a resident of Florida (Miami or surrounding areas)
