Medical Recruiter (Remote- California -Based)

Position Overview:
The Medical Recruiter will oversee the full recruitment lifecycle—from job posting to offer acceptance—for a range of roles including physicians, respiratory therapists, sleep technologists, medical assistants, and administrative professionals. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in healthcare recruitment, strong working knowledge of California labor laws, and the ability to build high-quality talent pipelines.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for clinical and non-clinical positions
- Source candidates via job boards, professional networks, job fairs, and partnerships
- Conduct initial screenings, coordinate interviews, and maintain candidate communication
- Partner with hiring managers to understand needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies
- Collaborate with external recruiters as needed
- Maintain accurate records and workflows in the ATS (Paycor)
- Draft and update job descriptions to ensure compliance with California employment law
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process
- Stay current on healthcare staffing trends, wage benchmarks, and compliance requirements
- Coordinate with HR to support seamless onboarding
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or related field (preferred)
- 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (healthcare strongly preferred)
- Familiarity with California employment regulations
- Experience hiring both clinical and administrative roles
- Prior experience with Paycor or similar ATS (preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities with professionalism and attention to detail
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with a healthcare staffing agency
- CPR (Certified Professional Recruiter) or equivalent certification
- Spanish-speaking a strong plus
- Work Environment:
- 100% Remote
- Standard hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexibility may be required)
