We are a growing hospitality group with four fast-casual slice pizza locations and one artisan bakery in New York City. We pride ourselves on creativity, quality, and community. As we expand, we are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/ Office Accountant to support our financial operations.

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for managing and overseeing the accounts payable and receivable functions for all five locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant accounting, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The position is part-time; about 30 hours per week are required.

    Key Responsibilities:
  • Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Maintain accurate financial records for all locations
  • Assist with weekly and monthly financial reporting
  • Support month-end closing processes and coordinate with external CPA as needed
  • Track and categorize expenses by location
  • Communicate with GMs and vendors to resolve payment issues
  • Help implement cost control measures and identify financial efficiencies
    Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of AP/AR experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with a team
  • Familiarity with multi-location restaurant operations a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

    Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday
