Tax Solution Advisor

- Essential Functions
- Plans strategic frameworks and manages projects to ensure the organization’s tax strategy is implemented accurately, consistently and in compliance with all relevant regulations, laws and standards
- Monitors the effectiveness of tax process and system controls, identifies process improvements and communicates recommendations
- Manages ongoing discussions with peers in other internal work groups including peers in international regions on identified tax priorities supported with clear fact-based recommendations
- Participates in cross-functional meetings, monitors for tax impacts and provides insight / guidance to peers / Managers / Directors
- Develops and presents Executive level communications to Tax leadership on a routine basis with senior level authority
- Mentors less senior staff providing leadership on a routine basis.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics or related discipline.
Related experience may offset degree requirements and related education/degree may offset experience requirements.
Minimum Experience
Five (5) years directly related tax experience in public accounting, corporate tax department, or other related business experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong human relations, analytical, communications, and research skills.
Job Conditions
Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, including internal controls, financial reporting requirements, and risk assessment, Familiarity with Sharepoint, Quickbase, Alteryx or other data visualization and analytics software Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products, Strong ability to plan, organize, and oversee projects from initiation to completion with minimal guidance (project management skills/experience)
Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
Pay: $8,452.14/month - $11,410.38/month
Additional Details: The desired locations for this position would be Collierville, TN. This position may be eligible for relocation.
