About the position

The Line Controls Specialist at Swire Coca-Cola is responsible for ensuring the safety and efficiency of the production line while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role involves developing team capabilities, troubleshooting processes, and managing data systems to eliminate operational defects and losses. The specialist will actively participate in daily planning and execution, coach team members, and support loss elimination efforts based on data analysis.

    Responsibilities
  • Actively participate in line Daily Direction Setting (DDS) meetings and execution of the daily plan, including setting priorities and allocation of resources.
  • ,
  • Own the Centerline, Changeover, and Change Management DMS's for the line, including all data analysis, management of targets and documents standards, line health checks, training and coaching of line team members on these processes.
  • ,
  • Develop Capability - train and coach others on problem solving tools & techniques, changeovers & centerline processes. Own coaching for these areas during planned stops.
  • ,
  • Support the line team in developing line standards for centerline and changeovers. Ensure the revision, auditing and updating of these documents as necessary.
  • ,
  • Partner with Manufacturing line manager to prioritize loss elimination efforts based on data analysis (loss trees).
  • ,
  • Coach line operating teams on the technical understanding of the line processes.
  • ,
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
    Requirements
  • High School Diploma (or GED) required.
  • ,
  • Bachelor's Degree / technical certification preferred or equivalent experience.
  • ,
  • Lean Six Sigma preferred.
  • ,
  • 2+ years Continuous Improvement/coaching experience working in a high-speed manufacturing environment, with High School Diploma/GED required.
  • ,
  • 2+ years Previous experience working in a high-speed manufacturing environment, including specific knowledge of problem solving, trouble-shooting techniques, quick changeover, and centerline process required.
  • ,
  • 2+ years progressive experience in beverage production, maintenance, and/or warehouse operations required.
  • ,
  • Complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with deep understanding of the business priorities.
  • ,
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed to support a 24/7 operation.
