The Microsoft 365 Advisor leads the design and implementation of Microsoft 365 services, ensuring alignment with business goals, security standards, and user experience expectations. This role involves strategic planning, technical leadership, and hands-on configuration of Microsoft 365 tools such as Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune, and security/compliance features.
- Responsibilities
- Design and implement Microsoft 365 architecture and services across the enterprise.
- Lead technical strategy for collaboration, communication, and productivity tools.
- Ensure security, compliance, and governance of Microsoft 365 environments.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Automate tasks using PowerShell and integrate services via Graph API.
- Monitor and optimize performance, usage, and cost of Microsoft 365 services.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Designing conceptual architecture and technical solutions that leverage the most innovative Microsoft technologies.
- Providing in-depth technical understanding across the Microsoft 365 platform and supporting IT, Security and Business as a Subject Matter Expert.
- Explaining critical decisions made around costs, security, privacy, and user experience.

- What You Need To Succeed (minimum Qualifications)
- Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 services: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune, Power Platform, Defender, Purview, and Entra.
- Technical skills in PowerShell, Graph API, Intune Management, Purview, and Defender.
- Experience with cloud security, compliance, and data protection (e.g., DLP, eDiscovery).
- Proven experience in the management of a Microsoft 365 tenant.
- Expertise in Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, and security compliance.
- Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
- Proven experience in the implementation and management of Microsoft 365 Services. within an enterprise tenant.
- Ability to design conceptual architecture and technical solutions across Microsoft technologies.
- Ability to provide technical leadership and support designs and solutions across Microsoft technologies.
- Excellent data analytics experience.
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
- Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
- What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (preferred Qualifications)
- 8–10+ years of IT experience, with at least 3–5 years in Microsoft 365 architecture or engineering roles.
- Airline or travel related business experience.
