About the Role:
As a Technician, you will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of a variety of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment, ensuring their safe and efficient operation. You will play a critical role in keeping customer and company owned equipment running smoothly by performing routine maintenance tasks, conducting inspections, and perform repairs as directed with efficiency and accuracy per company standards.
Business Operating Hours/Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
- In this role you can expect to:
- Troubleshooting and Repair
- Diagnose and repair basic mechanical problems, that may include but not limited to engines, transmissions, and other essential components of heavy machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical and hydraulic systems, ensuring the proper functioning of equipment with the guidance of senior technicians.
- Perform basic maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, addressing issues related to fuel systems, exhaust, and emissions with the guidance of senior technicians.
- Preventive Maintenance
- Perform routine preventive maintenance of equipment to ensure it remains in rental ready condition.
- Daily inspection, greasing, checking fluid levels, etc.
- Safety Compliance
- Follow company safety and workplace policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE)
