Stryker’s Neurovascular division is focused on advancing the practice of less invasive stroke therapies through its Complete Stroke Care solutions. - What You Will Do
- Independently plans and manages daily engineering tasks to meet project milestones, ensuring efficient progress toward deliverables.
- Collaborates with and oversees external vendors for material procurement and coordination of specialized tests and experiments.
- Develops and validates complex test methods and fixtures, incorporating clinical insights to establish appropriate performance specifications.
- Designs, procures, and fabricates custom tooling and fixtures to support product development and testing initiatives.
- Troubleshoot issues in new products and processes related to design, materials, or manufacturing, implementing data-driven solutions.
- Analyzes test results, draws conclusions, and communicates findings through detailed technical documentation and reports.
- Partners cross-functionally with quality, regulatory, clinical, manufacturing, and marketing teams to ensure alignment and project success.
- Contributes to innovation by identifying patentable concepts, authoring invention disclosures, and integrating customer needs into product development.
What You Need
- Minimum Qualifications (Must Have)
- A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- At least 2 years of experience, ideally in medical device development, with a working knowledge of design control processes.
- Preferred Qualifications (Strongly Desired)
- Prior experience with interventional radiology, cardiology, or neuroradiology devices and associated clinical techniques.
- Experience developing and validating complex test methods and fixtures
$77,200 - $160,800 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
