Job Description - Registered Behavior Technician Company Mission

The Behavior Technician reports to their assigned BCBA and Clinical Director.
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide direct client care in a one-on-one settings
- Supports and implements a behavior support plans and interventions outlined by a BCBA
- Establishes and maintains a therapeutic relationship with the client by pairing themselves and engaging with the client at all times
- Teaches and reinforces socially acceptable replacement behaviors
- Facilitate independence and fade prompts as outlined by the BCBA to promote responding
- Accurately collects data including: frequency, rate, duration, ABC data, percent of opportunity, interval based recording, etc.
- Completes all required documentation and scheduling requirements
- Reports incidents as they occur and complete incident reports
- Seek appropriate support when needed from BCBA
- Collaborate with treatment team members to ensure effective treatment
- Accept feedback and support from BCBA and other clinical staff
- Conduct self in a personal manor when working with all team members, including caregivers and fellow co-workers
- Organization of clinic items and cleaning of items as needed
- Completing diaper changes and assisting in toileting routines
- Additional duties related to client services may arise
- Job Qualifications:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Passion for working with children
- Openness and willingness to learn new skills
- Full-Time Availability
- Ability to lift 20+ lbs as needed
- Ability to maintain a variety of postures (sitting on floor, standing, squatting, etc.)
- Positive work ethic and willingness to receive and accept feedback
- Fluent in navigating electronic devices (tablets, computers, etc.)
- Team Player
- Ability to write clearly and effectively
- Ability to speak clearly and effectively
- A background in the field of ABA is desired
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
