About the position
The Senior Analyst - Account Services at Verizon is responsible for managing key State and Local Government client projects, ensuring successful outcomes on large-scale network implementations. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, crafting detailed project plans, and maintaining communication with customers and management to drive service excellence and meet project objectives.
- Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary project management contact for key State and Local Government clients. ,
- Support high visibility strategic project and service implementation. ,
- Forge cross-functional partnerships to facilitate project completion. ,
- Craft detailed project plans and present business updates. ,
- Provide ongoing status and action reporting to stakeholders. ,
- Identify global resource requirements and coordinate team efforts. ,
- Plan and anticipate issues, adjusting strategies to meet objectives. ,
- Develop, review, and continuously improve project processes. ,
- Drive project timelines and keep team members on track. ,
- Scope and develop project plans for complex projects, including resource, time, and budget estimates. ,
- Provide support to resolve complex issues and problems. ,
- Govern intermediate projects or programs to ensure customer satisfaction. ,
- Coordinate the transition of programs from development to implementation. ,
- Implement recommendations for successful project completion.
- Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience. ,
- Three or more years of relevant work experience in project management. ,
- Experience managing complex projects with multiple work streams and stakeholders. ,
- Demonstrated vendor management experience. ,
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. ,
- Experience dealing with key customers at both frontline and management levels. ,
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.). ,
- Ability to motivate and influence teams to achieve outcomes. ,
- Demonstrated flexibility in handling various situations.
- Nice-to-haves
- A degree in project management or related field. ,
- Experience working with Federal customers at various levels. ,
- Strong familiarity with Verizon tools, processes, and products. ,
- PMP Certification. ,
