Within Checkr, Truework operates independently, allowing rapid iteration while also being able to leverage the strengths and assets from our core business. Think of it like joining a startup within a startup!As a National Accounts Manager on the Truework team, you'll help scale our impact across the largest lenders in the country. You'll be responsible for leading our sales team in acquiring new enterprise and strategic logos. This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll work closely with our GTM Head of Mortgage, Strategic Customer Success Managers, along with partners across Finance, Marketing, Product, and Engineering to deliver transformative value to customers.This role is ideal for a proven, entrepreneurial sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment-and who's ready to help define the future of verifications. You will be an important part of an elite, professional, and rapidly growing cross-functional team that succeeds through collaboration, grit, and learning.What you'll do
- Build trusted advisor relationships with both new and existing sales team and customers
- Use creativity for quick pipeline generation, finding your customers where they are
- Consistently achieve revenue targets by applying modern sales techniques and processes to efficiently manage sales team opportunities from top of funnel to a successful close
- Lead the sales teams cycle from discovery to deal close, aligning business value to customer objectives while meeting or exceeding aggressive sales goals
- Balance short-term revenue goals with long-term strategic growth
- Identify and develop new opportunities, use cases, and cross-functional champions
- Show unparalleled grit - constantly experiment, be willing to pivot, and have resiliency regardless of the obstacles faced
- 10+ years of full-cycle sales or sales leadership experience
- Demonstrable track record of above-target performance success against your peer group. Experience in residential mortgage banking fintech strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to build sales teams and culture as well and present executive-level business cases; experience selling seven-figure deals is encouraged
- You are smart, self-motivated, organized, disciplined, inquisitive, detail-oriented, and process-oriented; you have an ownership mentality within all aspects of your work
- You have a growth mindset that is always learning, growing, and actively seeking feedback
