YOUR DAY AS AN ENTRY-LEVEL DENTAL ASSISTANTAs an Entry-level Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between patients and our remote dental professionals. You will start by coordinating and managing the daily schedule for virtual Oral Health Assessments (OHA), ensuring that everything runs smoothly using TeleDent and ECW (Electronic Clinical Workflow) systems. Throughout the day, you will assist patients in conducting their virtual OHAs, gathering essential dental history, and updating patient records with treatment plans and notes. You will also act as a liaison between patients and the remote dentist, ensuring clear communication of findings and recommendations. In addition to patient interactions, you will handle administrative tasks, such as data entry, documentation, and maintaining confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.REQUIREMENTS FOR AN ENTRY-LEVEL DENTAL ASSISTANT

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred:

  • Experience working in a healthcare setting or a customer service role

  • Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and instruments

  • Proficiency with telemedicine platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems

  • Completion of a dental assisting program (we assist in dental assistant certification with 1+ year commitment to the company after becoming ceritified)
