You’ll be working for a busy Commercial Insurance Brokerage that specializes in the "for hire" transportation industry, which includes taxicab, limousine, and rideshare TNC APP based companies.Supported by (and reporting to) the Insurance Director, you'll be joining a friendly team who believe in delivering exceptional service with a high standard of integrity.We value high performance and care deeply about making ABI a place where everyone is building something special, that we can all be proud of, while enjoying the ride.What you'll doWe're looking for a highly motivated Executive Broker to champion our commercial transportation accounts and grow new business! - Nurture, manage, and skyrocket growth within your existing client portfolio.
- Hunt down exciting new business opportunities, expanding your footprint and earnings potential.
- Client Management: Build and nurture strong relationships, becoming a trusted advisor on commercial auto programs and risk strategies.
- Risk Assessment: Dive deep into client operations and loss history to uncover smart risk transfer opportunities and tailor coverage solutions.
- Market Placement: Partner with carriers to negotiate competitive pricing and coverage that align with your clients' needs.
- Program Design: Build standout insurance packages—from liability to gig, cargo to NEMT, and everything in between.
- Renewals & Retention: Keep the client experience seamless with proactive support on renewals, endorsements, claims, and midterm changes.
- Team Collaboration: Sync up with account execs, service pros, and managers to deliver top-tier client service and fuel account growth.
- Compliance: Ensure every program checks all the regulatory and contractual boxes.
- Business Development: Be on the lookout for fresh opportunities and contribute to the expansion of your portfolio.
- Industry Expertise: A strong foundation in commercial insurance for Mobility Solutions, Sharing Economy, Digital Economy and Transportation Services, with a deep focus on auto-related risks—ideally earned in a fast-paced brokerage or underwriting environment.
- Licensing: Active Property & Casualty license, ready to go.
- Regulatory & Risk Knowledge: Sharp understanding of commercial auto coverages, DOT regulations, FMCSA standards, and evolving industry trends.
- Sales & Communication Skills: Next-level negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Tech Proficiency: Comfortable navigating insurance brokerage systems, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Slack.
