- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Chemistry, or Science Education.
- Minimum of three years of teaching experience, including online instruction
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet grading and project deadlines
- High energy, a strong work ethic, and the ability to engage effectively with teenagers in the online environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to responding promptly to all communications.
- Eagerness to serve in a faith-based learning environment that emphasizes faithful Christian scholarship and character formation
- Proficiency with technology, including the ability to navigate a learning management system (e.g., Canvas LMS), online educational tools, and create screencasts/videos.
- Reliable, high speed internet access.
- Experience working collaboratively with a team of teachers, with a focus on providing and receiving constructive feedback in a transparent, growth-oriented culture.
- Ability to interact professionally with parents, students, and other community members.
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity, as our students come from diverse global backgrounds.
- A demonstrated commitment to professional development and continuous learning
- Maturity and stability to thrive in a demanding role.
- Provide both synchronous and asynchronous instruction and support.
- Grade student assignments and provide timely, constructive feedback.
