Position type: Full-time Contract (W2)
Duration: 12-Month Contract (Possible Extension)
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina 28202 (Hybrid), (3 days onsite/2 days remote)As a Python Full stack Developer with UX Research Expertise, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using Python and relevant frontend technologies.
- Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand user needs and behaviors.
- Analyze research findings and translate them into actionable insights for product development.
- Create user personas, journey maps, and wireframes to communicate design recommendations.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Manage the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Implement and maintain database schemas and optimize queries.
- Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
- Implement cloud-based solutions for scalability, reliability, and security.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the development process.
- Experience as a Python Developer in Fullstack development.
- Experience as a User Experience Researcher.
- Experience with GCP or other cloud provider experience.
- Proficiency in Python and relevant frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).
- Strong understanding of frontend technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Experience with database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proven ability to conduct user research and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Experience with user research methodologies and tools.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Ability to create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for learning and staying up-to-date with new technologies.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
