Job description: St. Joan of Arc is seeking a full-time, faith-filled 4th Grade Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This position involves teaching in a self-contained classroom, teaching various subjects to a 4th Grade homeroom, including Religion.The teacher candidate should be able to:

• Promote the mission and vision of St. Joan of Arc School and the Catholic Church.


• Be committed and passionate about Catholic education.


• Create a consistently high level of student engagement and learning.


• Hold a teaching certificate and have endorsements in their major subject area, if applicable.


• Be comfortable sharing their faith with their students.


• Differentiate instruction within the classroom to meet the needs of all students.


• Establish positive relationships with students.


• Set high standards for student behavior and manage inappropriate behavior effectively to maintain a consistent disciplinary approach that promotes self-direction and confidence.


• Communicate regularly with students, families, and colleagues.


• Cooperate with school administration to complete additional operational and professional responsibilities and duties, as needed.


• Be proficient in Microsoft Office products, e-mail, and interactive whiteboard technology.
