Requirements Analysis & Integration StrategyGather and define integration needs, authentication methods, and security protocols forconnecting various systems to the IdP.2. System Compatibility & Architecture DesignEnsure business systems align with the IdP's capabilities, including support for SSO, OAuth,SAML, or SCIM protocols.3. Data Mapping & TransformationDefine how identity-related data flows between systems, ensuring consistent attributes andformatting across platforms.4. API & Middleware DevelopmentDevelop custom APIs or middleware components to facilitate secure and seamless integrationbetween business systems and the IdP.5. Authentication & Access Management ImplementationConfigure authentication policies, role-based access controls (RBAC), and multi-factorauthentication (MFA) where needed.6. Testing & ValidationConduct rigorous testing of authentication flows, provisioning/deprovisioning processes, and integration reliability.7. Security & Compliance AdherenceEnsure compliance with identity governance frameworks and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2, HIPAA)8. Deployment & MonitoringRoll out integrations in a controlled environment, track performance, and proactively identify potential issues.9.
