Leverage your hands-on experience to lead high-impact optimization projects, build long-term customer relationships, and play a key role in driving aftermarket success—with approximately 50% travel.Position SummaryAs a Line Optimization Specialist, you'll forge robust customer alliances, collaborate closely with aftermarket sales and project teams to drive aftermarket business. Your role includes spearheading high-value line tuning projects, generating reports aligned with customer KPIs, promoting aftermarket solutions, and nurturing relationships with both external and internal customers. You'll also mentor technicians, support field service needs, and offer technical expertise for modernization projects.Key Responsibilities
- Build customer partnerships to drive aftermarket services business working very closely with the service sales and project teams.
- Perform high value line tuning / optimization projects.
- Communicate findings with the customer and in conjunction with the service sales manager.
- Highly promote aftermarket processes and obsolescence solutions to customers while onsite (approximately 50% travel is required).
- Develop a strong relationship with the modernization project team (NAM and overseas)
- Provide technical expertise to modernization projects where appropriate. Perform site management on CoC and Modernization projects when necessary.
- Must possess an Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics or Automation or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have at least 8 years of work experience in the packaging industry
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working with PC’s and Microsoft Office
- Project Management Experience Preferred.
- Experience in the food packaging industry
- Experience with controls
