The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) KC-46 Tanker Program is seeking an experienced Product Data Management Specialist to perform critical change integration functions for both new and derivative products. This role involves providing technical support in Configuration Status Accounting tasks, specifically focusing on the reconciliation of As-Built to As-Design documentation. The position is based in Everett, Washington, and reports directly to the PLM Manager of the KC-46 Configuration and Data Management team. The KC-46 program is a high-visibility initiative aimed at supporting the United States Air Force and international customers, making this role pivotal as the program transitions from development into production phases. As a Product Lifecycle Management Specialist, you will leverage Program Management Best Practices to oversee the definition and integration of configuration and data management tasks that span multiple engineering functions and airplane-level engineering projects. Your responsibilities will include defining, negotiating, documenting product and contract requirements, as well as managing the Contractor Data Requirement List (CDRL) and ensuring the integration and control of program data management processes. You will also be responsible for managing the document release process and ensuring compliance with government, company, and local policies related to cost proposals and contract requirements. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert in document and data markings and data rights, providing program data management performance and visibility metrics. Additionally, you will support supplier data management to ensure that all supplier data management requirements are met, controlling the Supplier Statement of Work (SSOW) template and Supplier Data Requirement List (SDRL) catalog. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, which necessitates U.S. Citizenship, and an interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance post-start is required.
Responsibilities
Supports activities to define, negotiate, document product and contract requirements.

Defines, plans, coordinates, negotiates and reviews Contractor Data Requirement List (CDRL) requirements and deliverables.

Supports the integration and maintains control of program data management processes including release and storage of program documents.

Manages document release process; manages deliveries of documents and data products.

Knowledge of government, company, and local policies, procedures, and regulations relating to the development of cost proposals.

Participates in contract proposal development and preparation ensuring data requirements are documented and understood.

Ensures consistent application of Configuration and Data management policies, processes and program management best practices.

Understands and able to interpret contract requirements, especially Contractor Data Requirements List (CDRL); manages CDRL deliveries.

Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) in document and data markings and data rights.

Responsible for providing program data management performance and visibility metrics.

Supports supplier data management to ensure supplier data management requirements are met.
Requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong technical content.
,
1+ years of experience with government programs.
,
1+ years of experience with Contract Data Management and/or Supplier Data Management.
,
Experience with Microsoft Office Applications; especially highly skillful with Excel as a data process tool.
,
Skill and ability to collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources.

3+ years of experience with CDRLs and Data Item Descriptions (DID).
Nice-to-haves
Ability to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system.

Highly knowledgeable and experienced with defense contract data management process and requirements.

Familiar with relational database language and tools such as SQL Server, and/or Excel Macro (VBA).

Benefits
Pay based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range $73,100 - $115,000.
