This role involves architecting and developing complex Drupal sites, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating closely with design and project teams to create innovative user experiences.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Design and build advanced Drupal modules and custom features</li><li>Oversee Drupal site architecture, ensuring scalability and performance</li><li>Conduct code reviews and provide guidance to junior team members</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project planning and execution</li><li>Create documentation and write blog posts<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Extensive experience with Drupal (Drupal 8/9/10) and PHP</li><li>Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)</li><li>Strong understanding of Drupal theming, module development, and site-building</li><li>Ability to create Drupal themes and modules following best practices</li><li>Experience working with a team and using a standardized development workflow</li><li>Familiarity with the Linux command line</li><li>Understanding of software development practices</li><li>Familiarity with Git</li><li>Ability to write technical documentation</li><li>Experience integrating Drupal with third-party APIs</li><li>Experience working with SASS, JavaScript, jQuery</li><li>Experience using a project management tool like JIRA</li><li>Strong communication skills in English (oral and written)</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach<br><br></li></ul><strong>Bonus for:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Work with DevOps tools like Docker / DDEV</li><li>Experience with system administration and security</li><li>Contributions to an open-source project</li><li>Experience working with hosting platforms like Pantheon and Acquia</li><li>Experience with Symfony, Laravel, WordPress, and other web development platforms<br><br></li></ul><strong>Remote applications are welcome, but the applicant must be:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Available during Toronto working hours</li><li>Use tools such as Slack to stay engaged with your team and contribute to the company culture</li><li>Have exceptional self-management and proactive communication skills<br><br></li></ul>Powered by JazzHR<br><br>6TMQqinAhk
