Description:
- Lead Compliance activities for Benefits plans including 5500s, mental health parity, transparency laws requirements, ACA reporting (federal and state), various required filings and reports
- Manage all Canada Benefits Programs, including vendors and consultants
- Manage specific programs and vendor relationships in the US
- Work with the HR Technology team, Total Rewards team, and the Operations Team to support all benefits programs in North America
- Be an integral team member for US Benefits Annual Open Enrollment
- Partner with Communications to improve ongoing education and awareness
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 10+ Years of experience with Benefits Programs
- HR Systems knowledge in Benefits (Workday benefits build and testing required)
- Expert US Benefits Program knowledge for core programs (medical, dental, vision, retirement, etc.) and lifestyle benefits (knowledge of Canada benefits a plus)
- Strong background in benefits compliance
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and individually
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate out-of-the-box thinking and identify process improvement opportunities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail as well as the ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects at once
