The Accounting Assistant in Trenton, Maine is responsible for assisting with the processing of payments, and providing excellent customer service. You’ll have a solid understanding of how to maintain and file information, and perform bookkeeping and accounts payable and receivable functions. This is a full time, 1st position that is temp to hire.

Accounting Assistant Qualifications: • High School Graduate or equivalent • Solid knowledge of Excel • Excellent phone and communication skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office • Works well under pressure • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team • Ability to maintain accurate financial records • AR and AP, as well as bookkeeping abilities • Financial software savvy

Required Skills:
• Previous experience in an office setting
• Familiarity with accounting principles and procedures

Accounting Assistant Details:
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-430pm
• Pay Rate: $20/hr
• Start Date: ASAP
