As a Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a critical role in supporting patients undergoing renal replacement therapy, ensuring compassionate, high-quality care that meets their medical and emotional needs.

Responsibilities: • Provide professional nursing care for patients requiring renal replacement therapy, under the hospital's license. • Report directly to the Dialysis Program Manager or Dialysis Supervisor. • Document patient assessments, vital signs, treatment observations, and medical records, while escalating significant issues to the physician and primary nurse as needed. • Evaluate, document, and implement dialysis orders and manage patient treatment plans. • Analyze patient assessments, dialysis orders, and lab results, addressing any issues with the nephrologist. • Communicate patient emergencies, life-threatening complications, and incidents to the supervisor, hospital staff, and attending physician. • Initiate and discontinue prescribed renal replacement therapy per physician orders, verifying compliance with safety protocols, administering medications, and documenting all actions in the hemodialysis flow sheet or hospital EMR.

Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred. • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice required. • Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association. • Minimum of 1-year dialysis experience in an acute care or chronic setting preferred. • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including MS Word and Outlook.
