About Us:

Innerworld is a safe, virtual world and welcoming community. Members get unlimited access to peer-based help learning life-changing mental health tools. We’re free to join, and Innerworld can be accessed in VR, desktop computers, or mobile devices. Innerworld members have unlimited access to over 200 events each week. Our events are group meetings led by certified facilitators (guides). Some are on serious topics like Anxiety, Depression, Recovery, etc., some are more informal and social-focused, and some help you relax with mindfulness or meditation.

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Mental Health Meeting Facilitator and Moderator working on our Community Team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and positive engagement of our community members within our online application. You will also lead various events, including sharing, learning, and social activities, helping members navigate their mental health journeys. This is not a therapy role, but you will be instrumental in guiding users through the Cognitive Behavioral Immersion™ tools and techniques.

Responsibilities:

Community Moderation:
• Enforce community guidelines and policies to maintain a positive atmosphere.
• Engage with community members, address concerns, and provide assistance when needed.
• Welcome and greet new users, fostering a sense of belonging.
• Monitor user interactions within the application to ensure a safe and supportive environment

Meeting Facilitation:
• Lead and facilitate group mental health sessions and events within the Innerworld platform.
• Provide support and guidance to users, helping them utilize CBI tools effectively.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental environment for all participants.
• Encourage user engagement and participation in various events and activities.
• Maintain a positive and empathetic presence in the community.
• Complete Innerworld’s multi-day training program to become proficient in CBI techniques.
• Collaborate with other guides and the Innerworld team to continuously improve the user experience.

Documentation:
• Provide insights and feedback to improve community engagement and user satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of user interactions

Qualifications:
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Empathetic and patient with the ability to handle sensitive situations.
• Familiarity with mental health topics and a commitment to promoting a supportive environment.
• Previous experience in community moderation and group facilitation
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and platforms.
• Academic or professional background in psychology or mental health
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology preferred
• Enrolled in a master's program for clinical or counseling studies.
• Available to complete Innerworld’s multi-day training program to become proficient in CBT techniques and group facilitation skills.

Schedule:

This is a part-time position with approximately 20-30 hours per week, with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance and business needs. Daytime and evening availability is required.
