Join the #VTeamLife.The Group Creative Senior Director (GCD) will manage the Creative Design teams and the general workflow of large-scale, major creative campaign projects. They will be responsible for overseeing and leading the development of compelling, creative omnichannel concepts and high-quality content that is on-brand and on-strategy, across a large variety of video, print, and digital media.They will manage and mentor teams of art directors, designers, writers, and external creative partners, and will be responsible for the creative direction and creative ideation of the in-house agency. The GCD will be responsible for assigning projects, ensuring deadlines are met, and maintaining an efficient and engaging work environment for creative personnel.This role requires strong communication, creative leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to establish and maintain solid relationships with team members. The GCD is tasked with delivering creative excellence and connecting the dots for how the brand works across all touchpoints. They manage the creative department to ensure that creative quality and strategic ideas are delivered.What You'll Be Doing...Translates marketing objectives into clear, actionable creative strategies.Manages and provides creative direction and supervision to the creative team for all creative work.Ensures consistent, high-quality service by developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external key stakeholders.Sets a tone of cooperation within the creative group and across the organization; promotes a “be of service”, solution-oriented mentality across the creative team.Coaches and develops team members by providing regular informal and formal feedback, supporting individual development plans, and strengthening project and relationship management skills.Supervises, coordinates and ensures the on-time and orderly flow of all creative/production from job initiation to its final delivery and billing.Analyzes marketing challenges and create on-brand design solutions that meet measurable business goals and requirementsDetermines project assignments and monitors workload of all creative and production team members.Works directly with project managers, creative producers and technical leads on assigned projectsEnsures brand guidelines and directives are embraced and adhered to in all executionsLeads and contributes to projects in partnership with internal and external designers, writers, and marketing specialists.360 Integrated Campaign Skills (Traditional/Digital)What We're Looking For...Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in design, advertising or related field, or equivalent years of experience.Ten or more years of brand/marketing/communications experience in integrated, brand, and digital communications.Eight or more years professional-level experience as a creative leader.Even better if you have....MBA preferred, or Masters in Business or Marketing, commensurate experience in building large-scale creative and marketing solutionsSolid understanding of the business and value of Creative ServicesExternal agency experienceA proven track record of effectively leading and managing a team with poise while maintaining tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Ability to present self and work professionally and persuasively to internal leaders.Ability to prioritize, problem-solve and analyze trends in workflow.Incredibly detail oriented, thorough and precise.Positive attitude, open to change and an iterative development process.Works well under pressure and within tight deadlines.Ability to manage your and your team’s time effectively.Excellent understanding of industry best practices in design.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Strong work ethic and attention to detail.Highly motivated, with a proven track record of building clients and expansion of client accountsWhere you’ll be workingIn this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.Scheduled Weekly Hours40Equal Employment OpportunityVerizon is an equal opportunity employer.
