<p>Join the team as Twilio’s next Senior Analyst, Protective Intelligence who will play a critical role in informing our overall security posture to enable a safe working environment.&nbsp; As a member of the Corporate Safety &amp; Security team, this role will develop due diligence products that informs the business on risks and issues related to Twilio’s people, attest, information, and brand reputation.&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>About the job</strong></p>
<p>This position is needed to conduct open-open source research to monitor and assess security threats, the global geopolitical environment, and other matters that could potentially impact Twilio’s operations. The Protective Intelligence Senior Analyst will develop timely, actionable analysis and collaboratively engage to inform the business on indicators of emerging or persistent risks or threats, offer analysis of&nbsp; business risk and opportunity, destabilizing trends to the steady state, and synthesize indicators and warnings to enable decisionmaking by other teams for the deployment of proactive security measures.&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p>In this role, you’ll:</p>
<ul>
<li>Develop refined protective intelligence governance and processes</li>
<li>Develop strategic, tactical, and operational intelligence products in support of projects with broad and highly-visible impact to the organization or our people</li>
<li>Provide timely, accurate, brief, and actionable intelligence which serve as early warning on domestic, international, and localized issues, global trends, events, and travel risk</li>
<li>Provide briefings to leadership and stakeholders at all levels on intelligence-driven risks to aid in effective and efficient decision-making&nbsp;</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop a comprehensive view of risks to Twilio, refine intelligence strategies, and continuously improve intelligence products and deliverables to meet the needs of the business</li>

<p><strong>*Required:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>2-5 years of experience in public or private sector intelligence, international security risk assessment, international affairs, investigative journalism, investigative research&nbsp;</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to parse security threats and advise on risk mitigation strategies specific to the interest of technology companies</li>
<li>Experience interfacing and collaborating with executives, peers, regulatory agencies, and external clients to develop solutions and gain consensus</li>
<li>Experience conceptualizing and executing on numerous initiatives and balancing competing priorities</li>
<li>Ability to think critically, creatively, and strategically</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Desired:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience in producing intelligence product within public sector technology</li>
<li>Ability to identify root cause and solve complex problems</li>
<li>Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Location</strong></p>
<p>This role will be remote, but is not eligible to be hired in CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, WA.</p>
<p><strong>Travel&nbsp;</strong></p>
<p>We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role, approximately 10% travel is anticipated to help you participate in project or team in-person meetings to help you connect in a meaningful way.</p>

<p><strong>Compensation</strong></p>
<p><em>*Please note this role is open to candidates outside of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington D.C., and Washington State. The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only.</em></p>
<p>The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:</p>
<ul>
<li>Based in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont or Washington D.C. : $86,100 - $107,600.</li>
<li>Based in New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $91,100 - $113,900.</li>
<li>Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $101,200 - $126,500.</li>
<li>This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are generally eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.</li>
</ul>
<p>The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.</p>
